Working primarily as a graphic designer, his practice is shaped by a tendency to write, to capture footage, to shoot photos, to transform materials, to solder, code, read, to get noisy, to admire film, to talk to strangers, and to make haste while maintaining perspective.
The majority of his work has been in connection with advertising and branding, working for over… well, many… years with a variety of agencies, studios and clientele in and around the Pacific Northwest and most recently in LA. He’s also worked extensively in prepress, most notably for the legendary Brown Printing (a hybrid boutique-industrial outfit located in Oregon) and Western Newspapers (a printing facility surrounded by twenty miles of desert, where he learned to strip film in the late 90s).
When he’s not working on graphics (he’s always working so hard for you, mwah), he can be found watching movies, walking dogs, taking detours in his favorite of the world’s great metropoles, or peering out to the coast on a night spent in the hills with his ultralight kit.
